Default WTH - Now my door panels are all spotty with Vinylex

I just was just about finished detailing my Z and I was putting vinylex on the upper part of the door panels and it wasn't applying smoothly. After about 5 min working on it, the panel looks like hell, all spotty and uneven, like part of the panel wetted and some didn't. The regular plastic surfaces, like the truck pieces were fine. What is going on with this. Any way to remedy this situation? I'd like some suggestions.

Thanks

Welcome to the club
They most likely won't ever look like stock again. Don't stress over it. If you did a search, you would see hundreds of us have done the same thing. Armor All orange wipes worked for some people to even it out. I cant find the orange wipes though. Here's a list of stuff I tried that DIDNT remove the armorall /blackmagik on my door panels:

1. murphys soap
2. rubbing alcohol
3. soap and water
4. windex

Nothing worked for me. I use 303 aerospace protectant on it now. I like the look better than stock

I've tried Murphy's Soap and 303 and neither one of those gave me a look I was happy with. Then I tried the Orange Armor-all cleaning wipes and they have done a very nice job. Make sure you get the ORANGE ones, not the regular ones.

I still use 303 on the dash, etc.

"Ditto"! The Orange Armor-All cleaning wipes are great. Went to three different auto stores until I finally found them at Checker.

Could anyone post a pic of the orange ones, or give a priduct code / bar code or something more ? here in jersey i cant seem to find the orange wipes - a guy a local Car Parts told me that they changes the orange one to purple ?

i wasnt about to explain to him what im using it on as i feel kinda stupid to brag saying my 350 has a special interior and cant be touched by armourall type things and blah blah blah so i just said that im not sure but i need the orange ones.

or - if anyone can pick me up some ill gladly pay you well for the trip to the store and post office !

thanks
