This "guy" prefers "BigBlue/Waffle" 25 X 36" from pakshak.com for drying. Detailing, I get all my towels from dftowel.com. Now, once every 60-90 days you might find a Nikota Car and Shop Blower on sale for $19.99. Small, electric with soft touch cone. Moves air at 180+. I picked mine up at Checker/

 

I use The Absorber and then detail the car the rest of the way out after each wash using a DF towel and the Z-6. I like to keep all of my towels dry, I do not like messing with a bunch of wet towels.
