Wondering if anyone else's experiencing a weird whitish discoloration on your driver's door right where your elbow would lay if you drive with your arm resting on the doorsill.

I just noticed it last week, tried cleaning it a few times with different cleaners but it almost seems like it's permanently discolored. Almost as if the black is coming off the door panel.

 

It's oil from your skin. I get one during the summer where my knee rests against the door panel.

I use Armor-All Orange Cleaning Wipes and that will take it off, plus make the door look better than anything I've tried. Make sure it's the Orange Cleaning Wipes. All other Armor-All products suck.

 

Maybe I have bony elbows, but I actually have an indentation on my door panel where my elbow rests.

 

I don't have that, but I got scratches all over the driver side door sill from my watch. I'm trying to think of a way to affix a leather overlay to that area to conceal/protect from this.
