Default Detailing interior 2006 touring

So I bought some of the standard armoral wipes to do the interior of my z, and it did not seem to agree with the material. It left a smear mark that was very hard to get off. I was wondering what others on here use to detail the interior, get it looking nice and shiny. Thanks.

Armoral and similar products are the worst stuff to use.
After many years of trying many products,by far the best is Auto Glym vinyl&rubber
care.No greasy splotches.Lasts...forever!All Auto Glym products are made in the U.K.I also use their car wash-excellent.Available online. The only chain auto parts store I've found that handles is Pep Boys.
This stuff is fantastic on interiors&exterior applications.I even use on engine parts:hoses,
plastic etc.
In addition,if your 06 hasthe same micro mini-dot door panels that are a PIA to clean,
you do not want to use a product like Armoral or,Auto Glym.I found it best to just
use a cleaner.By far the best results come from using Woolite.
Yes,Woolite!
Pour a bit in a pail of warm water.Put a towel over your switches.Apply with a soft sponge.Use a soft bristle brush to work into those tiny crevices.Blot with a wet towel
to rinse off the cleaner.Follow up with blotting with another dry towel.Let it air dry.
It will take awhile.
You will have your door panel looking like OEM.A even finish,no splotches!
Woolite has lanolin as a ingredient. This sort of "coats" the panel without any smears.

I use Meguiars on both the inside and outside.

I used to use Armor All and Eagle1 products a long time ago, but realized they didn't hold up to well. Made the switch to Meguiars and saw a big difference, especially in the exterior products. Spending a little more on cleaning products is worth it in the end.

It's the part of the car, the door panals and the center console that have the dotted material, or whatever you want to call it, that seems hard to detail.

the door panels are tough, they look streaky with the wrong products. Meguiar's interior detailer and Aerospace 303 are both great products. I wouldn't recommend 303 on the door panels though. I usually just hit the panels with water or a wet towel.

For Cleaning:
http://www.meguiars.com/en/professio...rpose-cleaner/

For Detailing:
http://www.lucasoil.com/products/dis...ior%20Detailer

Lucas is water based and doesn't do a good job if you have grime or other hardier messes. The Meguiar's is a nice product. Had a little help from another member on the differences. 303 gets rave reviews, and Surf City's isn't bad either.
