Default How can I remove epoxy glue from door paint

Ok guys I know this was a bad move... I had knocked my mirror off washing car w elbow so it was left hanging from wiring. I ordered a new replacement mirror from ebay and decided to glue the mirror back on til new got In Basically epoxy dripped down door days after applying and now it's eating away at my paint and still a shadow there and glue... Any ideas on how I could get it off ? Or stop it from eating paint?

I'm just spitballing here and don't know if it would work but wd-40 has thousands of uses, except for lubricating things like so many people try.

It couldn't hurt it worse than it already is it sounds like though so that's what I would try

You may want to look into Goo Gone. I hear it works pretty well on paint and it works on epoxy, albeit slowly.

You may want to contact locktite directly.I'll bet they suggest using small
amount of acetone(Maybe on a q-tip)to remove it in layers.I had a similar
situation. Was able to chip it off.
