Preference on Best Cleaning Products for the Z
I see a lot of you using Chemical Guys. It looks like they have a very wide selection to choose from. How did you guys choose which product will work best for you? Have you used them all or was a certain one recommended by a friend?
What are the benefits of using a quick detailer and/or dusters? I have no experience with them, but it does interest me.
I also hear Lexol products are amazing for doing leather right. I think I am going to try that one soon.

Everything I recommended I used.Keep in mind,these products have
improved over the years. Not many still using Simonize.Everything I
MENTIONED IS "BEST TO DATE".I'm not much on quick detailers or wipes.
If I had togive an award for the best product and or,improved for the task it would be,Auto GLYM VINYL&RUBBER CARE.WE all have used Armorall &that type of coating that never really dries...leaves a oil film. This product
does not.Good interior&exterior!
I'm constantly trying new stuff, but my current detailing process:
Wash: Honestly, most seem to be the same. I use whatever I can get a deal on. Right now it's Meguiar's Deep Crystal.
Wax: Chemical Guy's Blacklight base, Whip's Wax top coat (similar product to Butter Wax)
Polish: Sonax Paint Cleaner
Sealer: Chemical Guy's Hybrid V7
Detailer: Whip's Wax Spray Detailer
Wheels: Sonax Full Effect
Still trying to find an interior product I really like. One of the things I like are those cheap tear-off disinfectant cleaner wipes. Quick, cheap, easy to use.

Wash: Griot's Garage, Meguiars Gold Class
Interior: 303 Aerospace, Meguiars Quik interior detailer
Leather: Lexol 3 in 1
Window: Stoner invisible glass cleaner
Really depends on your budget imo.
There are still good budget products out there like gold class and the quick interior detailer.

The California Duster is very good actually. No swirls and it's not round and it wipes off dust very nicely. Car shows have them in use all the time for touch up. Been to many since 2003 and as a Area Representative for Monterey County and Santa Cruz County I've been to many, been in them, and always have mine on hand just like the other guys/gals.
Wax: Griot's Best of Show Wax
Wash: Griot's Car Wash
Tire Shine: Meguiar's Endurance High Gloss Tire Gel
Polish: Griot's Machine Polish Collection
Leather: Griot's Leather Reguvinator

Very good stuff!

Poorboy's World and Chemical Guys are two of the best brands for car detailing, just try out some of their products you can't really go wrong with those names.
Autogeek is a great site to learn more about car care overall: http://www.autogeek.net/
As for quick detailing/dusting, I don't know about NC but here in Southern CA my Z gets dusty. every. day. The air here is slowly killing us all, especially since I work in Los Angeles; so a quick wipe-down with a duster and quick detailer on any bee sh*t every other night keeps my Z looking freshly washed between actual full details/washes (which is about every other week at most for me)

And BTW, I appreciate everyone's input I will be trying new products in the near future.
My car is all black on the exterior and my Harley is Vivid Black so I have bought a lot of produtcs so see what does best with black paint. The Vivid black is just a black with no metallic and the Z is Super Magnetic Black with metallic.
Turtle Wax Black Box is amazing on both! Light Swirl marks disappear and if they don't polish and then use black box and the surface will look like glass after. Key is good surface preperation and a cool surface with a orbital buffer.
Black box does have black pigments in them so your hands will be covered in black but washes off easily. Only thing I use on the Z and comes with a black spray detailer that works very well in between washes/waxes.
Wax: Turtle Wax Black Box or Meguiars Gold Class Wax
Wash: Turtle Wax Zip Wax Car Wash
Tire Shine: Turtle Wax Platinum Shine
Polish: Turtle Wax Rubbing Compound and Mother's Clay Bar
Interior: Armor All Original Protectant
Leather: Base model...
Beer: Leinenkugel Summer Shandy or Blue Moon

That Detailed Image thread is awesome!! Thanks for the info!
I tell you what though, that California Water Blade is amazing at drying the car. No water spots, doesn't scratch at all. Just use a small microfiber to get the hard to reach angles, like around the handles etc. No towels have to touch the car to dry
