I have a new chrome silver roadster with no obvious problems with the finish. Do you guys see any problems with polishing with Zaino Z2 only?

 

not really, because silver doesnt show swirls to much, but if you bought the kit, i would say do one or two coats of Z5 and then Z2 for the next few coats. You may have to look closely, but there are problably a few swirls.

 

I agree. There are almost ALWAYS some swirls and a couple layers of Z-5 wouldn't hurt.

I have a 2003 Silver G35 Coupe and I use the Z-5 about every fourth or fifth time I wax it with Z-2. After almost 15 months it seems to be keeping the swirl marks away.

 

It does cover them well. If you had a black car you'd still be able to catch very very fine swirls on the paint.

My bumper is another story. The Z-5 doesn't seem to bond as well to the paint on the bumper as it does to the paint on the panels.
