Zaino Z-5: Wow, what a difference
Well, I stopped by Ira's place (the local Los Angeles area Zaino distributor) and picked up some of the new Z-5 formulation as well as some extra Z-2 and Z-6. It was a very nice day today here in LA, especially after all the rain we had lately, so I gave the Z a wash and put Z-5 on it for the first time, in addition to Z-2 and Z-6.
All I can say is...WOW. The difference between Z-5 plus Z-2 and just plain Z-2 is striking to say the least. My car is relatively new (took delivery in October '03) and initially I didn't bother buying Z-5, but I'm glad I did now. The paint finish absolutely GLEAMS, and is smooth as glass.
If you're not using Z-5, get some! It does make a difference, regardless of how new your paint is!

Z5 is a great product! Did you use the Z5 and/or Z2 w/ZFX? Normally, you would apply at least two or more applications of Z5 w/ZFX before moving on to Z2. You can go back and apply additional application of Z5 at any time. For every 3-4 applications of Z2, I apply Z5. If you have a garage available. apply Z2 without, I repeat without ZFX and let it dry for 8-10 hours. You will respond with a double WOW WOW

However, after seeing the results a single coat of Z-5 gave me, I plan to putting on many more coats in the next few weeks
Man, Im in the same boat as you. I got my car in Oct and have never used Z-5 on it. I think I have about 7 coats of Z-2 on it right now. Mine is silver so I have not seen any scratches at all so far so I didnt think I had any reason to use Z-5. Maybe Ill give it a try this weekend.
Oh yeah, one more thing....
