Please don't use that t-shirt. It will cause swirls. Just because it says 100% cotton does not mean that. Look where it is made, probably Indonesia, third world countries. It is not true 100% cotton. And it will cuase swirls.

Trust me and also ask all the other zaino experts, you must use a 100% cotton towel, "MADE IN THE USA".

Thank you. This is what I suspected, and the dopes at Autopia couldn't shed any light.

No wonder I had a swirl-free finish back when I was stealing my mom's old Fieldcrest bath towels!

its not necessary to do the polish and then the tech wax is it?

it would be okay to just wash it then use the tech wax right?

Yes, BUT if you polish and then use the Tech Wax you get a much beter finished result.

But your right you don't have to.

I was using Gold class, but after reading this thread I decided to switch to NXT. First I used dawn to wash the car, then used meguiars paint cleaner to get everything off, then used NXT. Gonna put another coat on tomorrow. I'm happy with the results

Smells great and very easy to wipe off. It was a little overcast so the pics don't do it complete justice.
