I have a tiny paint chip that i received the night i brought my Z home from the dealer .. i want to put a 3m paint protect kit on the car but want to repair the paint chip first. Its also starting to really irk me because it breaks my heart each time i see the little chip ..

does anyone know of a reputable place in the sf bay area that can do the touch up paint work for me.. i really dont want to do it myself because i have no 'good' experiences using touch up paint.

also .. how unnatural does touch up paint look on a car? the chip is small but noticeable to the human eye. thanks in advance.

You might try Colors on Parade (916-974-8413). They do chip repair at various dealerships. They touched up my chip at Hanlee's Nissan in Richmond.

Bottom line, without sanding and repainting, you'll be able to notice the repair. I had 3M installed over the touch up and it's even less noticable now.
