Default anyone know how to clean car cover?

i have a nissan car cover and i want to wash it, any suggestions?

Washing machine, gentle cycle. No fabic softners, bleach or other additions. Use woolite soap if you have it.

Dry on low heat. Agian, no fabric softener sheets.

My car cover recommends (not the nissan) a large washer with no central agitator, and a 1/4 cup of 409 cleaner.

I would not put one in a dryer at all, my friends melted when he put it in a dryer, California Car Covers say no electric drying at all.

I have the Nissan cover, the recommendation that came with it was to wash using powdered soap without any bleach additive, dry on the permenant press setting. I do mine all the time and it works great.

thanks, when i bought the cover long time ago, i don't remember instructions on cleaning it.

Or you can wash the cover while it is on the car.. and let it dry(most KimberlyClark fabric are breathable anyways). Then store it and wash your car to get rid of all that excess moisture.
