Default Tried nxt, pics

A buddy of myn got nxt for free. He also got the step 1 and 2 paint cleaner and polish. I started out with the paint cleaner, just put it on whole car and wipe off (do section by section, not whole car at once). I didnt do the polish (forgot) and went straight to the nxt. Put the nxt on whole car for about 20 minutes and wiped off. Came out pretty nice. Here are some pics.

Yea, it really is a great wax for the money. But if you can afford zaino, i think zaino is way better. I really like how zaino can be layered.

Quick question, i used step one and then went straight to nxt (skipped step 2, the polishing). Can i go back and do step 2 and then nxt again?

Regg, I don't thnk you need to. I just used the cleaner and then NXT. I think if you use the cleaner wax, it will take off the NXT.

You can skip the cleaner and just start with the polish, but you will have to put on another coat of NXT though. What I found really works well is to use the Meguiars quick clay detailing system before putting on a coat of wax. You would be suprised at what comes of the paint and how smooth the paint is afterwards.

I've heard becuase it is a polymer based wax you can. But I wouldn't recommend more than two coats, just a waste of product in my opinion. Meguairs also sells the NXT booster spray detailing wax which would be good for in between wax jobs. I just started using the NXT myself and WOW what a difference, and it even smells like candy.

I love the NXT, I am a firm believer it is as good as Zaino at about 1/3 the cost.

Yep, same here I've been using Meguiars ever since my first car, I am very pleased with their whole line of products, all easy to use with great results. If you go to their website they have great how-to clinics with videos. Again, great stuff.

I don't know if you can layer the NXT wax (it has "cleaning" agents which may remove previous "layer')...but I've read that the NXT booster has no "cleaning" agents..so my theory is that you might be able to "layer" the booster...but who cares if you can "layer"...you're gonna wax it again anyway...it'll shine like a new penny when you do

NXT is awsome, but i dont think its as good as zaino. I dont think its even close. But when you talk about value for money, nxt kicks zainos azz.
