Default whats your pre-wax washing program?

just curious what everyone uses to wash their cars with in terms of soap, towels, and cleaning and drying methods. ive been taking my car to hand car wash places, but id like to start washing it myself now and thought i could get some helpful tips. i have a microfiber mitt, a big jug of meguiars pink washing solution, and one of those rubber super absorbers for drying.

not crazy about microfiber mitt( I switched back to sheepskin mitt)..if your rubber absorber is a synth-chamois...I'd change to cali wiper and microfiber for dying....my two cents
