I am wondering the same thing, but I think the one at the auto show actually had a different paint on it.

Well, the only thing I have tried is Zaino. I'm a detailing newbie, so I can't offer any other suggestions, but I can show you some pictures and maybe that will help.

Look here.

Nice pics. You didn't tear up that beautiful lawn moving that car off?
Very difficult to see the Zaino difference on light colors. I still think I'm going to use it though. -m

Keep in mind that the show car paint job probably cost more than your whole car does.

Zaino is good, but it doesn't make CS look that much more impressive. I kind of doubt any wax/polish will add a whole lot of depth.l

i use something called liquid glass... granted it was not a a CS 350z, but was on my moms car, Brilliant Silver CL500... lol BS-Brilliant Silver
anyways, gave it a really good shine since i used a orbital polisher. i put about 3-4 coats the first time after i clay-bared it, and it turned out really well, then i used mother's carnuba wax and that may have helped, but i really didnt see a major difference. oh here are the pics: cl500 pics
