I have a 2002 QX4 --black, a few months ago I removed my hood/ bug deflector and found six line srcatches from the mounting of the deflector. Needless to say, they fixed the scratches by using a paint guy to repair it ( 3 times! ) the other day I was washing the car and notice either a film, cloud, or fading along the front of the hood. I tried to use scratch and swirl remover to try and blend the are but no luck. I can't tell if it is overspray mixed in, which there is no texture, or if the actual fix job actauly faded to a different color? any help would be appreciated. i really donot want to take the car back again!

 

This was done at the dealership not a body shop, I am almost positve this was not sealed w/ any type of clearcoat. But who knows?
