I used Mothers Carnuba(sp?) Paste Wax, is it ok to use NXT tech Wax on top of that?

or do i have to use a wax cleaner???? to get rid of the
Caranuba Wax (Mothers Wax) and then apply the
NXT wax?????
please help
am concerned if layering will affect the shine and
quality of the NXT wax....

Dawn will clean off any wax that's on your car.
Honestly I'm not sure about how well NXT layers. I put a couple coats on my mother's Mustang, but it's silver metallic so I didn't see much of a difference.
