Well, I am now a member of the Double Digit Zaino Club (we Zaino Gurus like to call it the DDZC). I just stacked on my 10th coat tonight in my garage (too cold and too dark outside). Since the pics are in my poorly lit garage they aren't too good but at least no one can accuse me of "doctoring" (HA HA, get it) up the photos due to changing lighting conditions.

 

This one was taken with a flash so overall the lighting sucks but I liked it because it shows the AMAZING reflectivity of the car with 10 coats of Zaino. You can see my wife's white Jeep on the side of the Z.

 

The 10 coats are are made up of 2 coats of the Z-5 and 8 coats of the Z-2. There is a coat of the Z-6 between every layer of Z-5 and Z-2.

 

I Zaino the Rays as well. I do a coat on them along with every coat I put on the car.

We'll have to start calling you ZK (Zaino King)... I don't think you'll ever have to worry about that zaino wearing off. You could probably not zaino that car for 2 years and still not have to worry about rain not beading up.... That car is now bullet proof

 

Oh yes.. that look definatly looks like just came crashing down off a zaino high. Does Zaino need a warning label about being addictive

When do you get enough time to put on soooo many coats! I know using ZFX causes the Z2/Z5 to dry faster but aren't you supposed to still wait 24 hours between coats?

ZFX expliantion: Drying time and curing me are completely different. What the ZFX addative (and what Blackfire allready has in it) do is to quicken the curing time dramaticaly. So what the hell is the difference?

Think of trying to blacken something with one of those perminant black Sharpie pens. When you put a coat on, and its not quite black yet, so you try to put on another coat right way. Its dry, but it hasnt fully cured yet. All you and up doing is removing the first coat and making a streaky mess. (Same analogy can be made for painting something). That's what happens when you try to layer a traditional polymer sealant on your car without wating for it to cure, it just removes itself and makes gummy mess.

ZFX and Blackfire though, are flash cure, meaning as they dry, they cross-link to the paint and cure imideately.

 

Doc, I think you are spending entirely too much time caressing each and every curve of your Z with Zaino instead of caressing your wife. She's gonna start saying "I think you love that car more than me" and then you are screwed. You will have to make it up to her in a number of ways, some of which could drain your wallet or raise knots on your head.

You need to listen to Uncle Pat. He's got your welfare only on his mind and you need to follow every suggestion he makes to beat this bout of Zainoitis. He will see you have the best care available, I have a list of good sanitariums I will give him and we two will pull you through, Hey! What are friens for?

gmoneyr1 really screwed the pooch on this one, if he'd only gotten the moderators out of the way. We could have taken him for his Z, house, and even his Stealth. He can still read what I'm typing?! I give up, we coulda been rich, ya know, if all of us had pulled together, what a shame.

You guys are zaino addicts..... I've ordered and received the Blackfire 'New Car' kit but I don't think I'll make it over 3 or 4 coats in the first 6 months... I'm not worthy of Zaino..lol
