Exclamation Water leaking after every car was

Does anyone have this problem? Everytime I wash my car I noticed that my left floor mat is wet towards the fire wall. Does anyone have any suggestion what it could be. Thanks for all the help in advance

My guess is that you're running a lot of water down the windshield and it's going thru the openings in the black plastic piece that runs along the bottom of the window (under the back edge of the hood). There may be a vent there that would normally allow water to drain off but in the case of lots of water, some leaks through into the air vent then into the car.

You don't use a high powered washer do you. They say at the dealer ship that they have seen people who use these and break the weather stripping and end up getting leaks. I also seen it in a newspaper article today in the automoblie section. When I went to get my rearview mirror switched out with a new one, there was a guy in there who had done this and was getting it fixed. Glad they cover it under warranty (unless your dealer is a plain in the butt, then pray).
