just washed my car this weekend..i notice this all the time....it gets much harder to remove the longer it stays on the car...but it will come off

This has to be bug crap! I leave my Z in the garage and barely drive it and its gets caked. I know it has something to do with the flys in the garage. Usually tree sap has a pine odor right:>? Anyway the quick detailer and a wash does it for me . WHO THE HELL TAKES A RAZOR TO PAINT>!>? Raildust is totally differnt than this crap raildust is tiny metal pieces that start rusting on your clearcoat this other stuff looks close to road tar but it is not.

It's probly spider crap. If you can't get it off with a good bug remover definatly try claying.
