Default Car covers

My landlord is CONSTANTLY mowing the lawn and cement around where the cars are parked. He littered the side of my eclipse with little white rock chips but you can't say nicely to the owner of the house you rent to stop mowing his lawn lol. I am getting a Z in the spring and I do not want this happening to this car. I am thinking of getting a car cover but one I bought swirl marked my car all up. Does anyone know of any good car covers to put over the car to protect it. Any help would be appreciated.

First off, you can never cover a dirty or dusty car, you car has to completely clean to put the cover on, putting a cover on a dirty or dusty car with marr the finish. That being said, you should visit the California Car Cover Company's web site and read about the different kinds of materials they have, I think they have 7 or 8 different kinds now and all of their car covers fit very well (I have two of theirs) and are custom fit. For protection of rock debris, I would go with the Stormweave myself as it is a very thick cover...

I had a thick cover before but the side that rests on the car seemed to be VERY rough or abrasive. Do you use this one and can say that it hasn't hurt your paint? My cars are always clean and it will be clean before I put the cover on it.

None of the covers that CA car cover sell will hurt the paint, I have one cover in the Stormweave material for one of my vehicles and I have another cover in the Noah material for the other. The Stormweave is thicker than the Noah so I would go with that...
