Scott,

How you like the wavetrac compare to the nismo you have? Will you be writing a review on it?

I wasn't really planning on writing any review on it. . . It is not adjustable, so I'm stuck with what the Spec class calls for and will make the best out of it. It's not noisy or clunky so far, and I was able to power out of turns as I expected. I'd say - for now - it meets expectations. Things may be different if it was an autox car, but this one isn't.

Me neither. Been driving BIG GREEN around town, and became reattached. I know every square inch of that car, and was hating thinking about someone else repping the greenZ somewhere in the country. SpecZ is well sorted and ready. Plus, if someone local buys the SpecZ, then I'll have someone to race against right away (which helps for the fun factor, contingency, etc.).

And around the autocrosses as well! I will miss the rev-up engine though, that thing kicks major azz. I will begin trying to source a rev-up, but in the mean time tune the greenZ for higher revs. The rev-up worked really well in T2 and T3 at T-hill, saving me from having to go into 4th, and staying in the TQ band. I think that's the combo to have for SpecZ, TBQH.

I think I'm only 3mph slower than you at max on the front straight - I run 119/120. The HRs in SpecZ will have a weight penalty though. 3100 for DE, 3175 for rev-up, 3300 for HR.

Ya but you probably come out of T15 way faster then me. I hit top of 4th (124 or so) but I come out of 15 at 40mph lol

Thanks Scott. so it sounds like you would much prefer your nismo unit than this one. But aside from the fact that it is non-adjustable, seems like it still get the job done better than an oem vlsd.

Hmm. I just don't think the power:weight makes it that significant. Here are me and ZCG 370Z (>300whp for the 370 at the time) running around @ Laguna. You can see him pull away for sure, but it's not like it yanks away significantly. Watch especially from about 9:30 on:

Only because I can't adjust this one. Otherwise - so far - I have not proven it is better or worse than the NISMO. Yes, seemingly significantly better than the OEM VLSD.

Ya I think you weigh 500-600 lbs less then me.

Didn't you only trap 99-100 at Infineon though?

I wish I pulled people as hard as the Ferrari pulled you on your Infineon video Lol

Well at least I think you owned it longer than I did. Good luck with selling it.

It's a great car. Selling so that there are TWO of us racing (locally). I'll drive the wheels off of it (like today) until then. ;-)

I'll be pulling my rev-up and 6MT for an LS2 swap very, very soon. Let me know if you are interested.
