Pretty good...the final silicone mold is being finished up for the left side first and is almost ready to run off the hero copy...after that a quick test fit of the bracket I fabbed and we should be good. I'd like to test these ( when they're done ) on a car w/ a stock bumper and hood as well just to make sure that there are no issues. Everything is moving along nicely.....just a little time consuming when I have to rely on multiple people.... On a side note - I'll be taking a pair to Buttonwillow in May to test them out - pretty excited.

Thanks for being patient guys....my molder is finishing up the 1st male counterpart now....just making sure everything is perfect on his end before I retrofit my bracket on...The thing i don't want to do is dump more money into this endeavor (more than I already have), w/o making sure that you guys aren't 100% happy. Just don't want there to be any loose ends. My expectations are pretty high so I'm pretty sure you guys will be satisfied.

Cool...just a affirmation of whats being produced for you guys....These are being designed w/ a removable bracket and pretty much going away from the velcro. I originally was doing it out of fiberglass as well but this proved to be extremely time consuming as well as it was difficult to take them on and off w/ out scratching the bumper underneath the light. So I moved to a professional silicone mold forming them out of ABS plastic. That way I can keep them thin making it easier to take them on and off and having them still retain there rigidity. Plus the fiberglass versions proved to be bad idea only because when they are under extreme conditions ( etc..bending, collision )...they tend to break and crack because of the original thickness. I literally had a fiber copy in my hand before going to this new method and was slightly bending it back and forth and could hear the fibers crack under tension. This is why I made this decision. I will update you guys again in a few days w/ more progress and am actually shooting for a official release in about 2 weeks. - stay tuned...

Just got back from the molding shop and everything is going great. Both male counterparts are complete. These original casts are pretty cool...They're a aluminum/high temp epoxy composite and weigh like 40lbs. a piece. The hero ABS replica is being run off tommorow. More pics soon.
