I dont think anyone will believe me...
...and that's fine, bc I wouldn't either...
here's a few of my runs from last night (I'm #33)

The temp was about 60, there was no humidity at all, and the track was verrrrry sticky.
My car is a stock 03 touring 6 speed except I removed the air filter and took out the spare tire and jack. Tires were the stock Bridgestones set at 22psi with the dadgum tirepressure beeper going off at me. Anyways, I'm pretty happy with the results... I was expecting low 14s.
If anyone wants to pull the bs flag, that's fine with me... I probably would too.

The only wierd thing is, how did you drop .4 seconds off your 60 fts time from your first run to your last? 1.7's are unheard of on stock tires, those radial/slick 60's!

you went from a 2.1 to a 1.69 60ft time. not with stock tires ever. There is definetly something your not telling us. You have mods and couldn't drive a lick the first 2 passes right, and the third one you finally figured it out. basically a 14 flat to a 13.4 cmonnnnnnnnnnnnn
I just got the car last weekend so I dont have any mods at all.
I can go take pictures of my car if you'd like.
Heck, I dunno what happened... it felt like one hell of a run.
Maybe they printed the slip wrong?

Can you describe how you launched on the 1.6 60' run? It is very hard to believe so maybe some clarification on how you did it might help. I have several friends with Z's who run ET Streets on their cars and are only pulling 1.7's and 1.6's occasionally. I am very impressed with your times, but would like to know how you did it.

I bought the car used, it's an 03 Touring 6 speed.
The track prep was amazing... my tires sounded like velcro when I was staging.
How I launched... I staged pretty deep, reved to around 2500 and let the clutch out right before it engages. Then when launching, I just feathered verrry quickly and just hoped I was going to get traction... I had quite a few runs where I feathered too quickly and was a little too harsh on the throttle and I got wheel hop like crazy. As you can see from the slips... I wasnt too worried about the R/T bc I was more focused on making a good run.

Haha you guys dont believe it and I didnt at first. Weird thing is I live close to this guy and its no BS. I thought it was because I was supprised that A local guy hit the best NA time to date on OEM tires. and the 60ft sounded outrages but this track is supposedly a fast track. Its weird, I have an 04 maxima 6 speed which im trying to trade for a Z at the time. Anyways when the car was stock I went out there on a perfect weather day. Ran 2 14.7s with 2.3 60fts which is an average 60 for the FWD boat im in. That day I hit a 2.0 at this track and got a 14.3. Nobody on maxima.org thought I could get 2.0s and called BS. Whatever though, I couldnt believe I got that on stock tires but it happened. I actually got one more 2.0 there too but all the other runs were ALWAYS 2.3s and 2.4s. Im ramblin, awsome time man!! Looking forward to meeting you at the track sometime.
I just removed the filter for one run down the track.
Thanks for the comments Glude... you are right about it being a fast track... I ran a 14.7 @ 94 in my spec v with a header and motor mount inserts.

im not sure what to think...look at the second slip and note he ran car #2 then he ran car number 2 on the third run also...or atleast the third slip...a couple things could have happened

the times look more like car 2's from there first encounter ...could the computer have swapped some of the data? maybe or more likely this is a photo shop...
i will say this i went last month to gainesville and ran 13.306 at 105.83 then last week at a different track and ran 13.69 at 101 with my g vill pass having an 1/8th MPH of 81.43 and my last week pass having 1/8th of 82.93...doesnt add up...i inquired and they said they had been under water earlier in the week and perhaps there was fog on the sensor lense?...to put this in better perspective i ran a GTO on that pass '04 bone stock except nitto 555R 275/40/17 and put 5 cars on him ...his slip said 14 something at 99 ya right...

The timing system @ your track fuked up-it happens. I've seen a guy with a Daewoo bring back a 13 second slip with his car number on it, no big deal. Somethings not right-on your 1st run you go 13.9 with an average 2.1 60ft, yet when you go almost .2 faster in the 60ft on your 2nd pass, you went slower, you should have gone at least .3 faster or more, did you miss a gear or something? Anybody that races knows there is no way you could pull a 1.69 60ft on stock tires no matter what the pressure was, or how good the track was prepped-Ive only seen 2 or 3 guys pull 1.6 60ft times and that was on e.t. streets. Anyways, practice shifting because if your going 13.9 with a low 1.9 60ft you need practice in that department. I went 13.77 @ 101.4 @ a relatively slow track with a 2.05 60ft stock. Id say you had 1 decent launch with a good run, 1 great launch with a not so decent run, and one run that was bogus. Congrats for hitting 13's.

The weather on this night that he ran was outrageous. It was hot during the day but when night rolled around a HUGE cold front came in. The humidity that night was like 24% or lower. Lets just say the track temps were at its best and they said the track was prepped better than it has been in a while. Many people broke there personal best times that night. each of them going .5 under what they normally run I think.
I dont see BS or faulty track, just perfect weather & great track prep that night.

It takes more power to the wheels to hit a 1.6 60' though, and 2,500 rpms won't cut it with the stock output.
Maybe a 5K rpm launch with slicks.
Please don't insult me by saying I photochoped a timeslip... I'm not the type of person to make something up just to look cool. If you'd like I can take pictures of the slip at all different angles for you.
Maybe the slip is bogus, I have no idea... I did talk to one of the officials at the track (it was Nars for anyone local) and he said it was legit.
... whatever the case... if it's really legit, then cool... if not, oh well. I'm not going to get worried about it.
