Default Cali Speedway 8/12/2005 recap

I made it out there around 4 pm, changed tires and started running around 5 pm.
Only did 11 runs didn't want to over do it.
IGOTTAZ with his Greddy TT was there and ALPINE with his APS TT was there.
Alpine did at least 30 runs, one after the other, I am really impressed how well this kit holds up. IGOTTAZ was running on DR's and Alpine on 19" Toyos.

First run both Alpine and I forgot to turn off traction control...I did a 13.8
Second run I freaking accidently turned Trraction Control back on....13.6
Third TCS was finally off but I hit the shift gates when trying to hit 4th...12.66
Fourth all went well...12.329 with a 1.883 60' foot.

Then my best run of the day 12.254 at 116.90 mph and a 1.889 60' foot

after that I took a break and later on I had several more 12.3 and 12.2's and all of us couldn't hit any decent 60's again....

IGOTTAZ's best of the day was a 12.8 and Alpine hit 12.9's what a difference Slicks make
I am very impressed my car pulls like crazy at a different track those would have been easily in the 11's, once I get the linelock I will have 11's at cali speedway...

here's the timeslip of my best run:

RT---.234
60'---1.889
330'---5.254
1/8---7.963
mph---94.09
1000---10.314
1/4---12.254
mph---116.90

I made several in car videos, haven't had time to encode them yet but here's one of my 12.254 run...

please right click and do save as!

Smile A good day

Thomas:

Nice times.

Eleven runs is a lot.. What did you set the air pressure in the MT's?

What next? You seem to have the car dialed in. Any negitive issues?

Cheers Amy -

I lowered the pressure from 16 to 14 psi and was finally able to break into the 1.8 60' also feels less "icy" when running.

Only negative is that I'm still not able to manage an true standing burnout. I'm going to have Brainstorm install a line lock for me as soon as possible, once that's done I can truly do burnouts and will do way better.

The car performs absolutely perfect as a daily driver and as a race horse
