Default Sacramento Raceway Track **Video**

Here is a quick video of our recent visit to the Track, myself (not on video racing, BigBri, Mattress Man) all went to the track just to see where our cars were at, my first run I ran a 14.059 at 101.5x, and a second run of 14.033 at 100.8x, I need to work on my launch, first 60 foot time was a 2.3, and second was a 2.19, I was powershifting down the track, but on both times I kept forgetting to powershift on the 1st to 2nd, so I wasted time between first and second which was more time on top of the launch that could have been made up, 13's are going to be easy soon, its cooling down (we ran in 80+ degree sun) so Ill post up another vid when its cooler and mr. BigBri with 500+RWHP has some bigger tires, he was running 275's which is the same size as mine, and I had problems with traction even though I have 50% of his power to the rear wheel!!! So anyways, you are going to hear him spinning first, second, and most of third....till next time.

****I was also on my 19 inch Racing Harts, I dont think this Dunlop Dirreza tire is very stick, I am going BFG drag radials next time, I dont know what size I want though 295/35, or 295/30 if they make it....maybe 285/35, I dunno, someone advise me, I have Tein S techs, and there is at least an inch of room of space with my 30 series tires, who knows what I can fit....

Are you sure that silver Z in the video has 500+ whp?
I doubt it has that power, If it had that power it should be atleast in mid 11's

yeah I just checked bigbri's other threads and yes I think he has 500+.
but that really sucks to see a car that has that much of power and run only 12.8, some people run 12.4 with turbonetics at stock boost WITH 19 inch. I guess he has to practice his launch!

Scarface, I am not going to get mad....but wow. Do you really think I would post something and say something if it wasnt true? You dont need to think he has the power, anyone here will tell you.

Second, he doesnt need to practice his launch, he tried rolling off of the line and when full boost comes the tires break loose and spin like crazy, every gear, i dont know if you have speakers on your computer, but you can hear 1st and 2nd and third gear spinning, he is getting 295 drag radials and 18 inch rims, his trap indicates that he can be easily be mid low 11's with traction.

***EDIT

I have seen the stock TT kits also mid 12's, but they trap like 106-108, he is trapping 118!! Just wait till a couple more weeks, we will go back out there soon, later!

To back myself up.... let me put it this way... I ran an 2.2 60ft burnt out untill 80mph then finally hooked up...and still ran an 12.8 at 117..... that's pretty good... considering..... can you imagine if I ran and 1.6 to 1.8 60ft and had traction through all gears?? I'd be in the 122-127mph trap range and run an low 11..... but that's what you get going to the track with 505whp and 460wtq on 19inch street tires... what can ya do eh.... oh ya my best run of the night was and 12.7 at 118 with an 2.3 60ft.....Also the run on the vid is my first run ever since I went turbo....I ran an 13.8 with just an cai... before all my mods...

Thats a great video and it seems like fun. However TT is not my cup of tea, seems like all that money and work and still not a great return unless you want to spend MORE money. Anyways, thats just my IMO.

Also, the camera man forgot to take his meds Good luck on the next runs!

The people that run 12.4 with turbonetics have way better tires.. dr's basicly slicks and they have a lot less power and tq so the hook up better and use the power better... any car on street tires other than awd has problems at the track... there was modded z06 there running best of 13.4 at 110... so my 12.7 at 118 makes me feel ok we both couldn't get traction...

No offence bigbri but I really hate to see a car which has a monster numbers and trap like that.
Man get the ET's and show us some serious numbers

BTW, what kind of centered exhaust your using? is it custom?
