10.9 @ 121mph stock internal with video.
Some answers:
60ft was 1.6, One of the main reasons the car trapped low, is because he has a 25shot of spray and he activated it at the end of the run, but unfortunally bottle was closed so the car started choking on gas, but the car has seen 124mph traps running low 11s. Before they put the nitrous system on.
Yes this car was purchased maybe a year and half ago from Premier Auto Technicks, and it made 323WHP back then on stock boost, now it makes 474WHP@ higher boost, either 11 or 13 dont quote me on this please i'm not 100% sure. I will have to verify that # with Coco, the owner of the car to verify this info,.
The car is a factory 6spd with an ACT 6puck clutch, stock axles, stock driveshaft, stock diff.
They are going back to the track this comming week, with the bottle open this time, for an extra 25hp push up top, to do some solid 10s runs. This all happend in PR while I was in the middle of the hurricane Wilma deal here in Miami, so I have not had the chance to find out all the numbers ecxactly, since electric power is a luxury I just got a few days back, my priorities haven't ecxactly to talk about cars in long distance lol.

if the bottle wasn't open that means he didn't spray so the question remains: how to run 10's in a Z at only 120 mph?
He has amazing traction, I pulled 1.6 foots with no where near 10 seconds...
did he have any supension work done (0 Caliper for example), what pressure are the ET streets at and other than 15' what size are they?
Where does he launch at? I can go one forever

Easy, you get a Z that traps 126 and u let go the gas in the end of the track.

a Z trapping 126 would not hit 10 seconds
in order for that to happen the car would have to trap quite a bit more. I've seen allwheel porsches trap 133MPH and only hit 11.5...
for him to be that fast so that he can get off the gas and still hit 10 seconds at only 120 mph he would have to have quite a bit more hp...just my humble opionion.

I'm guessing that is a dry shot?

You're crazy.
Years back with my DSM on stock internals with pump gas no less I ran 10.7@123. It's not uncommon for an AWD DSM to trap under 127 and be into the 10's. I've seen a DSM with slicks cut a 10.00@133 so high 9's is almost possible with 133 trap.

well you mentioned All Wheel Drive DSM....not a rwd 350z...very big difference.
the matter of fact is that there are quite a few Z owners that are very good drivers with similar setups that don't even come close to his numbers. For starters Puerto Rico seems to have the fastest tracks in the world, since this is not the first time these great numbers were reported from PR. I guess it's the sea leval and air density out there that gives them a great advantage.
so in in order for all of us to get to that level it would be helpful to know all the in's and outs of what's on his Z, suspension, Camber settings, tire pressure, all these kinda things.

At the HP levels we are talking about AWD is close to being a hinderance not a help, a properly setup RWD car with slicks can out 60 FT a similar HP AWD car at these power levels. Besides you seemed to indicate even an AWD wouldn't ET what was being said with the traps discussed with your statement of:
[QUOTE=mrtomcat]
That trap is good for a low 10/high 9 with slicks.

Trap speed has to do a lot with gearing too. If there's an upshift right before the end of the track, the trap speed is going to be affected by a decent amount.
I'd love to see a full timeslip to find out what he trapped in the 1/8 mile; that would be very telling of what he could have trapped at hadn't he let off the gas at the end.

Suspension is Stock minus tanabe springs, and camber settings havent been touched in this car EVER...tham PR tracks must be running down hill LOL!
