Thanks. Yeah, I think there is a bit left but not a lot. I decided to run higher tire pressures this year as I was bogging running 11-12psi last year. I ran 15-16psi and it bogged just a bit at the top of first so next time out i'll try another pound or two and see what happens.

It would also be cool to line up my Z with some bikes...as most riders suck big time.

Damn you guys, I'm still gunning for the first 5AT to break 12's NA. My question is this...what RPM were you launching from? Without a stall I can only get the trans to hold 2500rpms (1900 true stall, the extra 600 just slippage). I'm trying to go 12's without any major mods, I have access to slicks and I think I'm going to give them a shot as soon as Atco or Cecil reopens, I'll just run them at a higher PSI so I don't bog em I guess.....
Awesome job man! Few people can be as consistent on a launch to hit 1.7's all day (non stalled manual trans car).....

launch and drop the clutch around 5-6k in rpms. closer to 6 the better. You would need a much higher stal converter or that and i dont believe they make them for that high.

Very nice runs. You look like an N/A rocket. You look like you get shot out of the hole. Very amazing. Any times with street tires?? So there is hope for 12 sec N/A. Congrats on the times again.

For people who launch on street tires with 2.4's then slicks will show a vast improvement if they can cut sub 2 second launches with them. I haven't raced on radials in a few years now so it's hard to say what i'd run on regular street tires but I would think I'd still be in the low, possibly mid 13's if I had to take a guess. I think I used to cut 2.1-2.2's in my z32 before I got the et streets. I really don't care for the wheel hop you get with radials and I don't like slipping the crap out of my clutch either. I love the ET Streets. Rev it, dump it, hold on.
They say a 10th in the 60 is worth 2/10 in the quarter, but I think this would apply more to higher horsepower cars. I don't know exactly what the calculation would be for our cars with sub 300rwhp.

for me et streets are good for about .3 or so in the 1/4. if my car had more power it would make a bigger difference. if i were in the 300+rwhp range i think it would be much more difficult to go wot...as it is right now I can modulate the gas on street tires and make it down very close to my et street times just with less consistency

We have meets set up by the Z Car Garage and it is usually about 10 Z's half of which are N/A. Corsair is down into the 13.4's by just lightening his car, DR's, spacer, JWT and exhaust. We used to run about the same times, so I'm running DR's this season and taking some stuff out of the car. It is a touring model and I need to weigh it, but I think it is a pig.
Corsair and I had the most wins during the season and we are both N/A.
