damn what kind of tires do the 350zs come with on the 19s? cuz the stock tires on my G35 19s suck ***! I tried launching at 3k, 2500, 1500rpm at the track, slip my clutch, and I still spin as soon as im done feathering the clutch.

I have a stage 2, I posted earlier. But I don't have anything in my sig. I launch with drag radials 5000+ or I will baugh. On my 19's with toyo t1-r's I say 2000. or i will spin them all the way thru 3rd.

So when you launch at a higher rpm (4500-5000) should you dump the clutch completely? we're talking about a mostly stock set up here.

thanks

There is no reason to heat up regular street tires. A quick spin to get any debris off of them is all you need. A smokey burnout, although fun, only makes them greasier.

Anybody drive their Z's in the snow? I do with Blizzak LM-22's and with traction control on I can blow SUVs and semi's off the road. It's crazy when you are gonig around a turn and you feel like you are going to lose your rear end, the VDC kicks in and slops the slide. When you try to launch with the VDC on, you wanna talk about some bog down! You have to just take off slow and then let the tires catch and you can quickly move through the gears and next thing you know, you are 2,3,4,5 car lengths ahead of the car next to you with all-seasons.
