My sixty foot was pretty decent but my 1/4 time is slow and the mph is really slow.

I have the following mods: JWT intake, Crawford plenum, testpipes, catback exhaust, pulley, and headers. This is not a mod but I have 19 inch wheels.

I would think I'd have better top end my mods? What am I doing wrong?
the altitude is also killing you, its around the same here in vegas 2200' ft above sea level but supposedly density altitude can be 5500' or more. I ran the same time here in vegas with my 05 G35C (ztube & k&n drop in filter), but my 60ft was alot worse, with a 2.4 and my trap was a lil higher at 98mph..... but the only thing I dont get is the other 350zs time at the same track, have u seen his timeslip? did he upload it as an attachment, or did he actually post it up the numbers cuz it might be bs.

No his timeslip is legit. I saw it there and everything. Another Z in our local AZ club went to a different track in AZ that following saturday and did 13.8s with minor bolt ons and a killer 60ft. Ill look for his timeslip. I was really impressed. So I dont think its the altitude cause if it is...its only effecting me. LOL.

Heres the timeslip for the Z who hit 13.8s with a 1.99 60 ft. I believe he has an intake, plenum, and cat back exhaust. And he runs on 19s as well.

1.9 60ft there it is **** drag radials?... if I hit a 1.9 instead of a 2.4 I could of got a 13.7-13.8. remember its 2 tenths off your ET for every 1 tenth off your 60ft

My runs were done in Chandler. But the thing is, it seems to be only affecting me. Cause other Zs were running 14 flats all day. I saw their timeslips and we were comparing mine with theirs. If I run mid 14s again this friday. Ill have one of the other guys drive the car for me. See if it is me or if its the car. Ill keep u guys updated.

And Yes traction control was off.

Something about your timeslip is not adding up. I compared it to one of mine that I ran in Tucson (3,000 ft elevation, 80 degrees).
Yours: Mine:
60': 2.184 2.192
330: 6.138 6.141
1/8: 9.396 9.382
MPH: 75.21 75.00
1000:12.165 12.145
1/4: 14.536 14.479
MPH: 94.83 98.64

Everything is almost identical until the last trap speed reading. In fact, you trapped higher in the 1/8. Honestly it looks like you let off too soon, which can happen easier than you think. If not, I don't know what to tell you.

Alberto,

I saw that you said 3rd ends at 88mph, i went to see for myself and my 3rd ends at 84-85. Are you sure its 88?

Record for stock Z or mod'd Z's?

13.13 @ 107 and 13.16 @ 106 with bolt-ons, stock headers and cams, and a $hitty launch(1.9 60ft). Two guys have hit legit 12.9 @ 105/106mph with a 1.7 60ft...

BTW WorkZ33, take your car all the way to fuel cut in 3rd 1X. Look at your ananlog speedo as your digital one might not have caught up at that point, Its 88mph....seems some tachs are off more than others. Go to rev limiter in 3rd and look at the speed there it will be 88mph. BTW rev limiter in my car occurs exactly at redline, not sure about other Z's.
