On a different day his trap WILL go up, easily. I was up at the fence about to watch superchargedg run and the wind almost knocked me over.

Hey Alberto what kind of internals are you using, or are they stock..?

 

Stock block and cams. At this point Im really not pushing a lot of whp. I believe Im the only Z on these boards to go 11's with less than 400whp.

Ill be running this set-up again with the A/F's PERFECT, then Ill step up to the higher boost and race gas. My goal by the end of the summer (which is lots of time) is 11.5....

 

Are you considering cams? That would be worth another 15-25whp and maybe 2 more MPH

 

There was a nitrous Z back in the day with a 100shot that did 11s....was around 360-370whp I believe....

 

Why do cams when you're not building the motor yet if an extra lb of boost can get you the same amount of power??

 

More power with less boost. Besides he did his turbo himself.. i assume he could handle doing cams himself as well

 

cams are a little harder than the turbo kit, but i am sure he can handle it. with a 114 trap you should be able to run 11.7s with good traction. your 11.5 will be very possible if you would heat your tires up more
