Default How do I use my 3200 stall converter for launching

Hello everyone what is the true technique for luanching with a 3200 stall torque converter off the line. I also have a hard time getting traction with my Toyo T1Rs. They are set at 37 psi cold. Should I lower my tire pressure. I have heard that these tires like the higher pressure though, is this a true fact, or should I lower the pressure?

Any tips would be highly appreciated.

Sincerely Glen

First since you have a 3200 stall converter you must warm your tires. Second lower your tire pressure to 25 if it doesnt work then try a bit lower. And go stall it if you r still spinning then start to play with the gas pedal off the line. Then if nothing works go get your self some DR's. That should fix it.

BTW how much power.

The higher psi works great for dr's if you're bogging off the line.I run 36psi with my nittos. For street tires, I would do what fairlady said and start out with around 25psi.
