Default new personal best at Irwindale

I finally got 5 runs in tonight and was very happy to see 12 350Z cars come out. Pretty cool

well, long story short I got a new personal best.....drum roll....
RT---1.051 (oops)
60'---1.750
330'---5.067
1/8---7.708
MPH---94.72
sooo close to 7.6's once sthe softer rear springs arrive this should be easy
I am happy....
of course one bad thing happened I shaved off a wheel stud again. I hope performance nissan has some more nismo studs in stock

Congrats! What were the temps and humidity like?

Sorry if you've covered this before, but what kind of studs are you using and are you using spacers? I'm just wondering because right now I've got H&R studs and spacers.

84 degrees, don't know the humidity...typical LA weather

I'm using Nismo 50mm studs to accomodate the Weld Lugnuts for my prostars. no Spacers

nice man, you are trapping 2 mph more than me on nitrous at the 1/8th but i still have a tenth on ya at 330 and 60 foot. are you on drag radials??

i also have 7.57 on my best run for my times, gotta love nitrous!!!!

what all do you have done, built motor, stock motor??

should be good for low 120s at that rate with those figures. you should probably pick up close to 30 in the last 660 feet and i am figuring low 11s.

good to see some more times man!!!

Damn 1/8 E.T. isnt anything special, but you have a very healthy trap speed, car has nice pull. Work on your 1-2, and 2-3 shifts a bit

Reason I am happy is this:
I used to pull 7.7's with 50 whp less....then I added the bodykit, tein flex Water/Methanol injection, retune (50whp more) and was only able to pull 7.9's for the last few weeks. So I've been extremely frustrated.

I finally managed to get those numbers with the new setup. Once the softer rear springs arrive I will get those times down much more (I hope)

What time and day did you run and i can tell you the exact density altitude at the time of your run if you'd like. Nice run. What tire?

I just looked it up:

Altitude: 587
Air Temp: 84
Altimeter- 29.82
Dew Point: 50

Density Altitude: 2589 feet

7.708 at 2589 corrected at sea level = 7.470
I don't think that is too bad for a stock block don't you?

For those that have not seen this car run, WOW! it fly's by just about everything! AMAZING!
I personaly could not get lower than a 9.0, with a 2.0 60ft... don't know if it was just a bad day..either way, yep it was nice to more than 2 or 3 Z's out there!
keep in touch and we'll get out there again...

good to meet you again. It was truly great seing so many Z's at the track.

You need to invest in some DR's and you'll do just fine.

Tom,

Are you getting springs from Tein? I've been trying to get softer rear springs for the Flex but they are special order from Japan....according to Tein.

Ahhh. The 9kg are from the Tein Basic. I'm trying to get the 10kg. I'll see if Jason can get those. Thanks

they told me that you need to 9 for the tein flex, which I'm happy with since they are softer.
It's not the Tein Basic springs....otherwise they wouldn't be special order
