With better traction you should be in the low 12s. Even with the 3.3 gearing its still hard to put the power down.

Are those tires the semi slicks? My 285's couldnt hold 1st and 2nd if I didnt roll off the line and granny second.

I'm sponsored by NX, I have the kit, but not connected or used at all, it would easily blow (engine), I will soon connect an intercooler chill bar and use it for that...

Its weird, I pulled a 12.26 @ 118 before a couple of mods and on street tires as well, I've pulled several 117 traps.. I'm thinking its my tires and driving combined.

Tires are full street radials, not even Drags.

I went to the track with my buddys ET streets, but the problem on the Z, you canot use the brakes for a burnout, and I couldnt heat up the tires, so it looked like a crazy fish down the track, and felt as if I was gonna eat the wall, ****ty times, also, my best times have been on street tires.

Next trip to the track will be with 18" Drag radials. We'll see....

Pull the brake fuse and do a nice 2nd gear burnout...that enables you to warm them up "enough".

Not semi slicks, full street tires, with the different gears out back, its a lot better off the whole, it spins a bit on 1st and a bit on 2nd, but it stays much on the ground. I improved my 60ft from 2.3 to 2.0 on street tires just with the gear change, also I pass the trap on 4th gear, b4 I used to have to shift into 5th
