Yeah, one run I had to get off it in 4th and still pulled a 12.9 and would have beaten a newbie 04 cobra driver who ran 12.7 I think. One run was really strong until the k-motor crx caught my eye on his way to an 11.4, felt strong but wasn't really paying attention to the RPM's after he started to pull!

Open diff = slippery ride!

Good numbers! Doubt seriously if another $1500 would get you to 11's. What could you do? I'd be the first to jump on that bandwagon!

To get into the 11's all you need is a pop charger. Nothing else.

for some reason nitrous does nothing for me. if its not available at all times when i want it then it seems like im cheating. even if someone offered a free nos system, i would take it and sell it.

Now this is what I like to hear. These cars can really move with some mild mods and some ambition. Give this guy the stuffed teddy I like what he is doing!!!!!!

damn shame...nitrous is arguably the best FI. Depends on what you use it for but you retain stock gas mileage, no management issues, no boost leak, no oil burning and no headaches. So sell you nitrous....I'll keep running 11s.

the block can no problem...the stock clutch on the other hand....we tuning my Z on the dyno and burnt up the clutch at 4k rpms...make 440 lbs.tq before it gave out. That equates to roughly 530 lbs/tq at the crank....anxious to see what peak numbers will be. When you spend a fraction of the cost of turbos/fuel/management and end up going faster...I don't know why more ppl don't use it.

Good times OneZ!

don't forget to keep adding the bottle fill up's to that list.. so if you fill up your bottle once a week for the year $1900 to your tally

I don't see why I'd want to fill it once a week

For example, I filled it Friday for a street tune which cost me $30 @ $3 a lb. and did about five runs. Saturday I had them top it off in preparation for the track event which was around $16. At the track I ran 5 full runs with nitrous and this morning I checked the gauge and it was around 825 psi with no bottle warmer on it, so I figure there's a few more runs in it. I mean, as much as I love running 12's, its impossible to make every track and street event every weekend. I really don't see me going to the track again until I at least get a VLSD pumpkin. If someone wants to call this car out, then just give me an hour notice and I'll be ready

Think about it! The utec and tuner is the most expensive and important part of my set-up and I won't lose that once I go FI. The only parts I'll lose money on is the TP's and filter! You'll be able to get at least half your money back on the nitrous kit, maybe you'll keep it!

I see your logic! But lets be realistic! In my case I put 5,000 miles on this car the past year so I hardly find my self in a situation on the street where I'll need it and who's to say it wont be there. I can reach back, turn the bottle on, change utec maps on the fly and arm the system.

Its not my daily driver, its a toy! My ultimate goal is a built motor with turbo's but I don't have 20 G's laying around and in the mean time I'll get used to more power and the utec.

Jay-(didn't want to go from 13.7's to low 11's without any experience in the middle)
