thanks for putting that video up clay!! if you listen guys, you can hear how bad my clutch is slipping in 5th gear, the revs just fly right up but the car doesnt go anywhere.

that would have been a hell of a run if it didnt slip cause i was in 5th a lot earlier ...

waiting to dl video and see what happened to the car in the left lane? Did he blow his motor or just let off. He ran a 11.1 at 100mph and was killing you into the 1/8th.

congrats on the 10 second pass, with the th400 and a better tire pressures you think youll hit 9's?

 

Low 1.6 60ft and you bogged, I'll take that anyday. Congrats man, very impressive.

Edit-after watching the vid-wow, that clutch did slip that last 100 feet or so of the run. Other than that and the slight bog (it recovered quickly) car sounded very strong. Good stuff Jeremy.

 

thanks guys, yeah the car i ran was a low 9 second car, there is a big event out there today and lots of fast domestics were there testing and tuning.


i killed the fuel pump too at the top of the track cause when i stopped that hard, the fuel pump started sucking in air, i didnt want to burn it up, then i tried to start the car back without turning it back on

 

wow, 5 minute vid for a 10 second pass. For those who want to get right into the action, find the 2 minute mark and youll be set. Anticipation was killing me, you were staged for a awhile.


Was the lighting ad bad as the film looks or was that just the camera? Sound too, is your car really loud in the interior or was the mic on the camera picking up more than it should?

yeah, we are just messing around with this new in car camera setup. it goes into black and white when the lighting is low. plus its dark at the track and its getting flung all around.


thats no nitrous yet, plus granny shifting as you can see, which sucks cause my car gets a little lag between shifts. didnt want to pull an alberto on the trans

the mic is turned up too loud and we have to get a mic with an inline volume adjustment so it will turn down for sure.

that is just the raw video file, i need to edit it for sure, my friend just put it up for me so i could have it.

yeah, we turn it on early cause its too much to think about when you pull up to the line to do a burnout and every other thing you have to do ...


i forgot to turn it off when i pulled around for some reason

Your car sounds mean. I wish you would wait a bit and try to max out your 6mt, no clutch slip and Alberto shifting. It kinda saddens me to see the th400 go in, seeing such a high performance track car go the way of the domestics lol either way that car is something to aspire to.
