Your car is picking up 23mph in the 2nd 1/8, thats fine. Given your 60ft, I believe the 1/8 is good, how is your 3-4 shift?

Nice Vid...Is your Z a 6 speed? The only thing I see is that your 1/8th time should be in the low 8's (maybe even the high 7's ) not in the high 8's.I have a 5AT and run high 7's and mostly low 8's in the 1/8th. Maybe your getting a lot of wheel spin on your launch or your 1-2 shift thats slowing you down because your second half seems good.

Alberto...is that correct on the 1/8th times as I stated?

I just watched the video is he FI? I assumed he was NA judging by the times My car stock did 8.8X 1/8, with the 13.1 @ 107mph I ran 8.4 in the 1/8, you have to be FI to run in the 7's with an auto. I guess Im missing something here...

I think you need to pass down the crack pipe. It surely is some good **** you're on.

bolton Zs don't run anything close to low 8s.

Alberto, I am FI, its HKS SC. I am slow to shift 3 to 4, still trying to watch/listen the RPM's, I think on this run I actually bounced off the rev-limiter.
This was basically the 1st time with a real burn out with the DR's. Tail end is coming out during the burnout, trying to stay in a few more seconds, still chirping 2nd gear.
It seems to be running lean, at WOT.
this is at 2400ft elevation, I think the correction factor puts me at the around 13.1xx at 106...problem is there are no sea level tracks close by.

How much pressure in the DR's? You need to pull the brake fuse and HEAT them up. Better 60ft's and times are ahead of you. BTW-if you run 10.5 A/F, that is not lean its very rich.

Alberto, straight typo man..good lookin out.
it is rich, the tune yielded 11.5 across the RPM's, thinking an intake leak or vacuum leak, causing the rich condition. gonna get back ont he dyno and see what the numbers say.
I ran 18lbs in each one. That was my best run all day, I ran 13.7 the rest of the day same MPH's 103.xxmph. That was my best run all day (13.5), and I did not heat up the tires, if you notice in the video I pulled out of the box and the car shut off..then did a short 1st gear, then up to the line. Heating up the tires later on in the day was futile, as I could not break 13.7 with 2.1 60's.

Actually, traction was pretty good..this was my 1st time up there in 8years, and conditions were not bad at all.
76 degrees (during sun time)
10mph cross track winds
dunno exactly about humidity but it was wasn't bad.
track, was sticky...waaaaaaaaaaaaaay better than Fontana
maybe just need more practice with the DR'z

I ran LACR for the first time Friday night. What a bad track. First 60" seem pretty dam slippery, right lane was .2-.3 faster than the left lane, and both lanes felt like parts of the old 405.

went to Irwindale last nite...although my best time there was 8.3et, I could only pull off an 8.5xx. Just thought i'd share. Like Alberto said better times to come. i liked the consistant 1.9 60'z!

opinions welcomed.
