The intake manifold is coming off today stock replacement is going back on as well, comp testing, and inspecting it tonight. The car itself is always in immaculate condition, hence my checking of the spark plugs since the car hasn't felt right lately.
If it were major mechanical damage I wouldn't push the car and if it is due for a rebuild then, it is time to man up and beef up the internals. The car isn't limping, it's just low on power, I work on performance cars though most of the car models we work on are supercharged, so I know what to look for, which is why I may have jumped the gun mentioning the compression test as it is usually the first thing we look at when the AMG's come in leaking after being beat to hell.
Why would I go run the car knowing that it fouled plugs and may have things wrong with it? Last hurrah. If the engine is going to have to be built or if im not going to be able to drive her hard for a while, I wanted to get to gun her one more time competitively before she goes under the knife.
