What happened is that the 60' timing lights were tripped by something accidentally. That 60' isn't possible in this instance.

Show us a 1.5 or even a low 1.6 to back that up and I MIGHT start to believe that it was actually possible. (which I already know it's not.)

lol this is crazy..... ok you guys win coz i really don't have the time to prove stuff to you guys (just got better things to do and also i sold the car but maybe you guys can buy me an sti an i can do it again for you if it means a lot)..... lol i did miss gears in that run (now plz don't investigate which gears i missed and other stuff)

So apparently you don't have another timeslip showing even a 1.5 or low 1.6? Let me guess, all your other timeslips from that day are high 1.6s (if you're lucky) or more likely 1.7s and 1.8s, maybe even 1.9s? But you've got that magical 1.4... lol I love it.

So you're telling me that's the ONLY pass that you ever made in the car?? Show us another timeslip from that day with a 60' within even a tenth and a half of that 1.48.

I don't think you understand what goes into pulling a sub 1.5 60' time. Hell...my Z on a slick launching from 6000rpms has only pulled a best of 1.62 and that took full traction and 430rwhp.

I wouldnt mind seeing another slip if you got one. I will take it back if you can show me more then that.

That slip just doesnt add up at all. A 1.4 60', but then a 6.0 330'? I guess when you said you miss-shifted you werent kidding. Thats one hell of a miss-shift.

You guys said 60' with street tires, so I had a 2.109 on Potenzas. I was pretty pleased with that, being noob at drag racing.

That's pretty decent for a virgin drag racer, nice job.

DOH... wasn't really thinking about a red light situation here or something flipping acrossed the sensor. Makes sense now.

They probably started with the rear tires located where the front tires should be. (pretty much like a car length jump) Resulting in some crazy 60' time.

The kids do it all the time at the local 1/8th mile track.

However, there are STI's and EVO's there that run 1.6 60' times 100% stock down to the tires. That is with a pretty much perfect launch.

If the rear tires were at the line, not the front tires, then this would make sense.

If you do it out mathmatically, it almost works perfectly.

A 2.0sec 60', means you covered an avg of 30' per sec.
So, with about 7' less, assuming the rear tires are on the line, it would only take you about 1.43 sec to hit the 60' line on the track. Then this would make sense. So in this case I would tell you CJ, that it seems like you really got just over a 2.0 sec 60'. Good job!!

I can hardly break 2.2 on the sixty foot mark, lol. I have hit 2.1 a couple of times. I don't have a good track up here though, I ran a 8.3 at 88, had to let off I was spinning hard then the next run, I feathered it and ran 8.5 and had to let off in 3rd but had a trap of 90.0 mph. I would love to see what my car would run without any type of traction issues.

I would be in the 7's in the 1/8th with some of your 60' times, I am kind of jealous.
