Post a time slip and lets see how you are doing.

Nope. Nobody that has ever raced a z on stock tires has ever hooked at the track. Ever.

You need slicks. The Z has way too much power to handle launching on street tires. Basically if you're trying to take off on street tires, you better launch from 3rd gear to avoid spinning the entire way down.

no point in posting a time slip. it was bad. but im not that mad because i was just spinning all the way through 2nd. then the second run i launched to hard and trying to get out of the spin i was riding the clutch and it went to the floor.

Guaranteed that you are far from the worst 350Z racer. Without a time slip, I am in the dark.

You never know, intonation is impossible to gauge on the internet. I didn't know if you were joking or if you were one of those jokers who can't get better than a 2.4 60 time in their Z.

I hope you're kidding about that last part.

I'm pissed I haven't done better than a 2.05 yet and there are people hoping for a 2.3

I went for the 1st time on wednesday and got a few runs in. My '60 was 2.228, I was sort of dropping the clutch around 2.5k, I didn't try feathering it out like people are suggesting. I know if I bring my 60 to under 2.00 I'll be hitting 13.7-13.8's, I think my 2nd to 3rd and 4th across the line shifts are pretty decent, can someone analyze my time slip?

it was in the high 70's

R/T: .223
60: 2.228
330: 6.053
1/8: 9.150
MPH: 79.31
1000: 11.796
1/4: 14.012
MPH: 100.71
