Dragstrip thursday!! What do guys think ill run?
Wow JT is my own personal cheerleader.... lol..With the tune you gave me maybe,just maybe, I can give AJ a good race.I know once the happy juice is spraying and you retune it then I'll really be ready for A.J

AJ has nitrous in there as of now, just not wired up yet and he is going to be on race gas this friday. its really hard to find time to make it to the track these days. i hope it doesnt rain!! good luck man, get in those 11s with just the tune, then we will shoot for mid 11s on nitrous...

It all depends on your track experience, and just as importantly, the track itself. The Z (VQ35DE) is capable of high 13's stock in some tracks. But as many of you SoCal people know, 13's stock isnt really possible here. (Same goes for many western tracks)

Im probably a pretty decent dragstrip driver, my reaction times are pretty good, but ive never really drove the Z dragstrip style on the street. Do u guys have any pointers on whats the best way to launch these cars??
Should I just idle then floor it at green or hold some rpms and pop the clutch?
Whats the best launch procedure for a stock Z? I may only get a few runs and I dont wanna feel like an *** and run a 15.5.
Actually what does a stock Z even run in the 1/4??? Also my car has LSD if that makes a difference.

THIS IS THE SCREWUP THOUGH.....I had 10Lbs of pressure in my left front tire and about 20 in the right one. I just got tires last week and trusted the guy when he said he checked my pressures. Car feels like new with air pressure!!
I have some crazy *** videos im gonna post on u tube of me and ill link them here.

Yea I cant launch the car for ****. It wheel hopped soo bad so I was just taking off from complete idle. And my shifts were just horrible.
Well practice makes perfect. i did expect to do just a Little better though. Although I seen alot of cars that were real nice that I expected to go alot faster and they were all in the 15's too.
