I used to have s set off 19' BBS wrapped in Michilen PS2's i dont think there is a better combo then a forged wheel and michilen PS2, Ill say PS2's are no competition with Toyo's 4sure....
My rationale was that the smaller wheels, being that they have softer sidewalls, yield better traction then the stiff walled sticky tires on the larger wheels. I know the Pilot Sports are great tires but they are 30 profile and a lot of $$$. But the bottom line is quicker times. Thanks for your responses. I'll probably run with the Pilot Sports but I might bring my Toyos. =/
Well, I took most of everyone's advice and ran with 19" Michelin PS's. My first 3 runs were horrible b/c I couldn't get any traction. My 60's were 2.24, 2.62, & 2.45 to yield mid to high 14s and 15 flat on the second run. My last 2 runs I decided not to power brake and got better 60's, 2.17 & 2.19 to run 14.3 on the last 2 runs. I was not really expecting a lot b/c of the wheels and it being summertime, but next time I'm going to try the stock 18"s.
