Went to the 1/4 mile for the first time today
Went to the 1/4 for the first time today, since going turbo. I told myself I would be happy if I hit an 11.56 at 130. First run out I ran an 11.5 at 131! My best for the day was an 11.45 at 132.5 with a weak 2.0 60'. I got a total of 5 passes all with 2.0 60s, except the last one I hit a 1.8 but missed 3rd. I think the car for sure has a 10 in it with the right tires, launch, and driver mod. I was on 305/35/18 Nitto drags, which are pretty good for the street, but first gear will not dead hook on the track even with heating the crap out of them. The time slips are in my car and ill post them up later. The track was Beech Bend Raceway in Bownling Green, KY.
Mods are:
built motor
greddy twins
19psi on 110octane
606rwhp on Sharif's dyno

Dude thats bas @ss!
First time to the track and your kicking 11.45, with a 2.0 60ft.
I have no doubt you'll hit 10's next time around. Remember to check the tire pressure after every run! How much pressure were you running??
Congrats!!!
Not bad for building the motor at home in the garage, and NO cams!
But really...what was your "DA"? J/K
