The regional forum is a better place for your question.

I have been to Atco several times racing with ECZA. But its too far away for weekend racing. BTW how far are you from Rising Sun, MD?

I have puled my fastest 60ft times at Atco. However, I was always afraid to run hard there if I drove down. This year we got the trailer, so expect to see bits and pieces of my rear end scattered all over their nice new concrete.

What would be the difference in their concrete?

I'm 30 min away and was there a few weeks ago. They make you drive through the pond they spray down and you can't drive around it, which sucks. I plan on going a few times in 08 but i'm more interested in going to NJMSP in Millville http://www.njmotorsportspark.com/. Going straight bores me.

I would guess the concrete would be more of a solid base with less flex than the Asphalt?? Dunno, but this sounds feasable I assume..

As long as the track prep is the same I'll be there. One of (if not the fastest) fastest tracks in the US.

Make sure you post up when you're heading down - I'm about 20-25 away and I'd def stop up and watch/say hi. Normally I'd say "run/say hi" but I don't think I'm gonna run this car anymore - time for an HR baby.

I dont really get the concrete thing either, i guess anything is possible. I go to alot of private rentals with some of our drag cars. Been there twice in Z but never got to run it hard. There a concrete bypass up my way, i havent ever seen good traction on it so i'm pretty lost with the idea.

Concrete is harder than asphalt and will not require as much replacement as asphalt. Concrete you are able to control how smooth or rought the pour is. As a result there could be better traction there depending on if you use slicks or not.

I hate that you can not drive around the water box when I have my streets on. I know what is on my list for next race season.
