DNI shootout...
Even though turnout was smaller than expected(weather), I still had a good time. Got to meet Vee Tec and some other really cool people. Also ran a new pb of 13.82 at the wrong time. My dial-in was 13.87. Oh well. Here's a few pics..

Great to meet you!
The weather was great, but I'm thinking the severe weather we had the day before cancelled a lot of people. I was worried about our house being hit by a tornado yesterday, and some people in the area saw 4 inch hail!!!!!
Yesterday was great though, sunny, 75 degrees.
My best for the day was only a 13.31, and my trap only got up to 105. I never could keep from spinning the tires, even going into 3rd, as that part of the track was not sticking as well as the first couple hundred feet. I ran about 10 13.3's, spinning on the upshifts, but I still had a great time, and got to meet a lot of nice people too.
For those interested, there was a new BMW 335 there, but it was not stock. It had intake, exhaust and a programmer. He upped the boost a bit and ran a 12.7 best. I was able to run a Cayman S, which had intake and catback exhaust, according to the driver. He ran a 13.01 best, against me, and trapped a high speed of 106.
We ran twice, and he ran a 13.1 the second time, to my 13.3. He was a very good driver too, pulling off two 1.9 60's.
My favorite race was the 06 Mustang GT, which had intake, exhaust and a 100 shot of nitrous, but he was having bottle pressure problems, so he dropped it down to 70 for our run, but he still didn't get the full shot, and I beat him to the finish with a slightly slower time.
Too bad we couldn't have both made it to the final round of the bracket. $500 was a nice little purse.
Anyway, it was a good time, and you ran great, especially with an auto!

David, he did run against me in the competition portion of the event, and busted out. Both of the time slips above were against me, and he beat me on the run where he went 13.87. I had some traction issues, so I backed out, hence the trap speed. He was consistent all day.
I made it to the semi final round, and then got a bit anxious, running a slower car, and did what I kept telling everyone else not to do, haha, redlight.
Doh!
I also have tons of video from the event, which my wife took, and I'll get those up tonight, after I get home from work.

whats up guys i was the white z with the black wheels, i had a great time out there on sunday runing a best of 13.85 @ 101.5 which i was pretty happy with considering i could not hook going into second or third also. I was with the 06 white GT you beat and he has alot more than just i/e and 100 shot. He has pulleys, 4.10 gears, 3000 stall, and some other bolt ons also. He was having problems with his bottle heater and then we herd his nitrous leaking under the hood, so it was runing like poop. He just got all that stuff put on and still has the stock tires, so hooking up with the 3000 stall was not happening. I was kind of disapointed with the lack of 350's out there but it was still fun to get all those runs in. I have tons of videos also if anyone wants to see them.

I also noticed you have a Barrow county plate, so I'll be looking for your car, when I'm out and about. I rarely see 350Z's in Barrow!
