I'll probably stick w/ the motul 300v during track season, then switch back to rp during the off season. It's not so much that I'm worried about the lack of detergent in the oil or the fact that it's sludging... I just get worried that the oil has like microscopic debris in it and the cylinder walls are getting all scarred up- I know that's what the filter is for... i just know it's in there and it bugs me like really really bad.

I fail to see how "knowing your ish" is grounds to not share something simple like oil analysis.

My entire analysis is my business. With the haters on this forum, and the people in the FI area specifically who look for any excuse to shop/personally bash, sharing my entire analysis is grounds for "my oil isnt XXXX like yours," "that cant be normal", etc, etc comments-everybody is an expert online at everything. Thats why Im much more on the DL about my experiences now a days. If you dont understand that, well I could care less

I think the OP is the single reason that the price per barrel of oil has gone up so drastically.

Well... I've only done 11 oil changes so far, and at 5.25 qts per change that's only 57.75 quarts total... there are 105 quarts in a barrell. So I don't think it's my fault because I haven't even used a whole barrell yet.

Everything from Motul to Mobil 1 Euro 0w-40 has worked very well.

If you've never done it or want to learn more check this out, for as cheap as it is I dont know why more people (especially built) dont do this.

The filter will keep out particles that are, I think, 10 microns or larger so if your still OCD about changing your oil every 1k go ahead. What you should do is send off for a UOA and see what your oil looks like. That might keep your OCD in check

It will probably drive me crazier, even if there's one micron per million i'll be like UGH! gotta get it out of there!!
