Default into the 13's

i took my stock 06 base model z to the drag strip last weekend hoping i would hold my own against some mustangs but the gt's got me everytime. i was running consistent 14.0-14.2 all night. is it possible to hit 13.2-13.3 with basic bolt on mod's (i/h/e) maybe even cpu reflash?

why is that the 06's get the slowest times? no offense but it seems they are always 14 second cars..

probably that rev-up engine. which was a marketing gimmick from Nissan

04's are the fastest DE's.

I did a 13.9. Couldn't go any faster since my clutch was sticking to the floor. With a better clutch setup to slip it at 3k I could've managed a 1.9 60' or better yet a 2.0 60' and still did a 13.7 run. They're not slow people just suck at driving them. And the Revup is definitely not a gimmick. They pull really good up until 7k unlike the DE's.
