Have you drag raced your new Z yet?

side note, it's been getting cooler here in south FL finally. DA's in the summer were 2000+ the whole night usually. It's starting to dip as low as 1300 towards the end of the night now. I plan to make some runs this Wednesday!

I went to the track tonight, made 5 passes. There was a 2 hour 'break' to clean up a mess from a bike.

The DA's were about 1700 most of the night.

My best times tonight were:

13.657@102.7mph w/ 2.11 60'

13.675@102.2mph w/ 2.03 60'

13.759@102.9mph w/ 2.12 60'

I might have had a 13.4x or 13.5x pass but missed 3rd gear (I had a similar 330' time when I ran 13.495 a few months ago).

Otherwise a fairly disappointing night at the track, but I'm gonna try to go back next week!

 

I went to PBIR last night to make some runs for Midnight Madness, it's finally starting to cool off and get crowded at the track now. DA's were about 1400 towards the end of the night.

Still running just the Stillen oil cooler and nothing else.

The time slip below, 0.002 faster than my previous PR but I picked up about 1mph from my previous PR. Coulda had a 13.3 slip but ran about 0.1 slower on the 60-ft.

I'm shooting for low 13's this winter while still somewhat stock (oil cooler only). After that I'll start bolting stuff on.

 

It took a while for the 350Z guys to get to the drag strip. I'm sure other Z34s will join the ranks soon enough. Good showing, tranceformer95.

Davidv, why am I not seeing your times up there? Don't tell me you've given up drag racing.

 

It's still a bit slow in the drag forums on the 370Z site but there's a few regulars that post times. Alway gotta post slips to keep everyone motivated.

 

Went back to the track last night to capitolize on the cold weather and my new re-11's. The da was around -150 and temp around mid 50's so it was perfect!
