Had great time last night.

Would have been better except for an NSX who kept revving his motor at us. He even "revved" on me in the staging lanes and gave me the mean mug stare. Typical. Have no idea what was up with this guy. That run was horrible for me. My 9.3@79/2.3 60ft vs his 9.2@76.

Drove a Nismo 370Z down the track. Feels excellent. I hit the rev limiter and made a noob mistake by missing 3rd. Oh well.

You still had the NSX! Did you powershift coming out of 2nd gear? Good run though!

 

Best togo around the water! You also do what I do, which is wheel hop when accelerating in 1st and 2nd gears. Trick is to slip the clutch alittle when launching and not drop the clutch going into 2nd gear.

I have never raced a short track. I only do 1/4 mile runs! I will be in San Diego for the first week in Nov. I have never seen the west coast. I am looking forward to the trip. I will be rolling in my g/f's 2009 altima 2dr couple with premium package. Not exactly a Nismo but thats okay not there to drive her car.... lol
