anyone knows about launch control for 350z? what is the best holding rpm?4.5k?

 

I guess that would depend on a number of factors: track conditions, tires, rwhp, driver, etc...

 

VQ35de have max torque at 4.8k. so i thought that 4.5k is the best

 

If you car is bone stock... my guess is you would have a hard time keeping the tires stuck to the track and would get wheel hop. I would probably start around the 3k mark... and work my up or down depending how the car is reacting to the track.

Every track, tire, conditions, etc will be different.

The best launch technique, (not control) is the one that gets YOU, and your car the best results.

Go out and practice and come back with numbers. Take good notes of all yor runs and you will see improvements quick, unless you suck then you will just embarrass yourself and this community.

 

i have to barely launch my car over 1.2k anything over i just spin have a video me doing a launch try upload (with speedo and tach) today
