I live in Belle Chasse. I was at No Problem Raceway.
Sam was going to do a build thread. Guess he has been busy lately. The car was built start to finish at GTM so they have all the pics. I think is the fastest time for a HR so far.
LOL good find. I wish the guy would have told me he was making a video to post I may have paid more attention to him. I was hurrying to get the car ready and he was playing 20 questions a lot of the conversation got edited though. The first pass in the vid was the first pass ever on a new set of 28-11.5-15 MT ET streets and was a very easy launch. I switched from the MT radials after breaking an axle trying to soften the llaunch with the wrinkle side wall. The second pass was a little better but the track prep was horrible and traction was a problem. I did win the true street competion that day and my best pass was 10.64@140.3mph. This was my highest mph to date and all the car has with out shifting to 5th gear. I was on the rev limiter just before the lights . Maybe a 3.3 diff is in my future. The car ran great and ran multiple 10 sec passes all day. This thing should go low 10s all day long with good track prep. For those interested the front wheels are weld aluma stars 17x4.5 and clear the bigger 06-08 brakes just fine. They are a bit pricy but the are not special order and usually in stock.
Dont take offense to this, but you are leaving a lot of time on the table during those shifts. Especially that 1-2.
None taken. I baby the 1-2 shift to save parts esp. after watching your videos lol. The 2-3 and 3-4 shift are flat foot shifts. Once I feel like I'm getting all I can out of the car and I still need a little more I may get a little more agressive with it. In my STI I leave on the rev limiter and never lift at all but its stock and I feel ok doing it. 2007 sti bone stock went 13.06@105 so I have the ability just don't know how much the Z will take at this power. Your comments are always welcome as you are one of the few people on here that actually have facts and figures to back up what you say. The latest slip looks like this

I know that you dont think it, but you can execute a lift shift faster than what Im seeing. For example, my car at 525whp Dynojet, with a 1.68 60ft, did a 7.1 1/8 and that was with me letting off right before the 1/8 marker, so it was a freaking 7.1 @ only 94mph!!!
If you put a 1.6 launch and a clean shifting pass together, you are low 10's like I said before.
Thanks for the info on those tires, I may see if they will go on the Track package's spares as I have two.
